The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2000-10-26 11:34 AM

You offered me a fantasy
such love I would receive
you offered hope in pretty words
oh how you did deceive.

I offered you ten thousand stars
to wrap you in my glow
I offered you the fullest moon
and all you said was no.

Today I ponder these results
and still I wonder why
your love was so ephemeral
you coldly said goodbye.

It seems I'm nothing to your heart
though mine still  beats for you
I know I have to let you go
but God, it's hard to do...

Once again, your words have moved me.  Are you a Scorpio like me?  I am trying to find a reason that your words so perfectly describe my feelings.

It is hard to do isn't it Sandra?  Exorcise the demons, the bad feelings and memories, but save and cherish the beautiful ones (the ones from before it all went bad).  They are still a gift to be treasured always.  *hugs*

WONDERFUL!!!!!  Doesn't it suck when you want to give your all....long to give it, and it is refused?  I cannot not understand that for the life of me.  You did an excellent job of conveying what that is like.  Thanks for the read, I enjoyed it alot!
