Eli,
Brother here I stand before you again,
Just like an open book exposed to wind and weather,
Your teachings have guided me through my life,
Reminded me to stop and see the children play and sometimes roll in the heather.

But so many don't know the way of love,
They think they do, they think they live right,
But there are merely selfish fools,
Only out for someone to hold them through the night.

They have neither the courage nor the convictions,
To stand with me and fight,
To spread our message further,
To show even more the eternal light.

Some call me Devi,
Others call me teacher,
Yet others are only threatened,
By a zealous female preacher.

Like you, my very words threaten the Gods,
They help to bring about their twilight even quicker,
They fear me as they feared you,
They fear their mortality, the sacred dagger, and our gospels that dispell their lies in a flicker.

As a sword was stabbed through you,
And your teachings came to a mortal end,
It seems the same destiny awaits me,
And like your death, it is something that love can't mend.

Your death was a lesson to all,
Dying for the cause so bravely,
But I am so scared Brother Eli,
The message now wavers in me.

Tomorrow I shall be crucified,
I shall be placed upon the cross before Caesar and his men,
And I fear I've let you down,
That my words and teachings have not the power to mend.

Ye ken I'm scared that I've let you down,
That I've disappointed you,
And now on the eve of my death,
I long for your comfort and your words of wisdom true.

I will be with you my beloved,
By your side for all eternity,
But until that hour, I have a request,
That you come and stand by me.

I lack the courage to face this alone,
To be stoned and the scurge or Greece,
Once again take my hand, lend me your courage,
Until my heart and soul know peace.

Our teachings have not been in vain,
They have heard us before and will hear us again,
Next time these words will come from our Lord's only begotten son,
I just hope the world can survive until then.

Eli there hasn't been a day I have not missed you,
Not loved you,
I am coming home my love................
