Your words shed upon my days
Like the sun shines upon me
The smiles in your words
Was all I needed to see
To turn away from the dark
And stop shedding the tears
Love me for who I am
And to face all my fears
I longed to see your poems
When I opened up my eyes
Your words gave me inner piece
Yet you didnt say "good-bye"
You were open with yourself
And friends we had become
You stopped my flow of tears
And made me smile some
Yet you vanished into the night
And no more "Hardrock" I see
No more writings of the supermarket
Or that place in the galaxy
Or what about the house
You built just for us all
It was a place to escape
When we were about to fall
No matter what the reasons
I miss you just the same
In my mind I put "Hardrock"
In the Passion's Hall of fame!

Oh okay , I know a lil silly here.  But I do miss this man and all his poetry.  He gave new light to the meaning of laughter with poetry.  I lost his email address so if any one still talks to him... tell him HI for me
Thanks,
DkW

Yes! Exactly! I wish he was back, it is a big loss to DP. Great little poem, and the message is from all of us, I bet.

Mags...How could I possibly stay away after such a lovely poem and all the kind things said about me?  You folks are really special to me.  So I posted two poems today...one entitled, "It's Raining", the other, "Some Man's Wife".  I'll probably be posting a few more in the next few days.  Thanks to all of you....but especially you Mags.  Hardrock
