Lured out of the darkness by that distant light Ensnared, opened and exposed by the alluring flame Blinded by that searing light of realization Destined forever to wander in the darkness Through the caverns of those distant memories Into the void of loneliness and despair To feel the pain and desolation once again For it is there that I now know I belong Embraced by the demons of my soul "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

~Eagle,...I remember once you told me to 'Ramble On',...do the same, you do it well. I love a breath of open, honest thoughts just poured out. Your words left feelings of cold and I extend my hand again as Oh can I relate to the scenario you described. I believe there is another word for this.. "Free association writing", am I correct. It seems that if this is just a random rambling, then you've much to learn from it. In any case, this is quite a good poem. It sort of reminds me of the internal strife that often goes on in the mind of one who still has sins that need to be forgiven and a heart that still needs healing and reconciliation... |

SpitFire......yes I do recall saying that  . It sadens me some to know you can relate to these feelings, also comforts me in knowing that I'm never really alone. Paula.....We all have a dark side, I think in a constant state of to and fro with the light. Ron...I think that perhaps some demons are best left burried. Thanks for your comments.
