gone you have gone leaving me to cry to pick up the broken pieces of my shattered life you made it worse you said things that made me think but thinking isn’t always good for me I think of what might have been But you’re gone now I want you still You hate me I don’t know why You won’t tell me But all I wanted was to be close to you I needed you But you are gone It could have been something But you wouldn’t let it Were you afraid? I was afraid of losing you And I did Because you walked away Told you secrets you betrayed my trust Maybe I shouldn’t have I don’t want your pity You think I did But it’s over now I still sigh I regret what might have been But it’s too late You are gone |
