I've sewn my seeds of faith, < !signature-->Danced with the tribal elders in many a ceremony, Laid down my life to follow Eli and his teachings, Yet I'm no better off today. Amazon Warrior Princess, Born to teach them a better way, To share with them my travels, And lessons learned each day. I fight for truth, love and peace, Love is the answer to all, But perhapls like Brother Eli, I won't reap my harvest until I'm slained and fall. The ancient legends and rhythums, My right of succession, The way of the ancient ones, Hasn't changed so much - it's just progression. We laid down our swords and weapons, Today you lay down your words and warfare, So we can again walk the path of love, And travel our lives without a care. Eli your death wasn't in vain, The legend is passed down From generation to generation, It was told today, and will be again. Today I've laid down my life and soul, To follow my ancient sisters, Today I treated the world's soul, All scarred and covered in blisters. Like Eli I'm a lamb for the slaughter, My life unfulfilled for I'm merely the messenger, My life inconsequential for I'm merely the bard, My price to pay as Isis the Defender. *Friendship is a horizon - which expands whenever we approach it...* ~Isis~Goddess~~Sovereign of the Spirit~ [This message has been edited by Isis (edited 10-01-2000).] |

Thanks everyone LM - Eli was a messanger back in the ancient times similar to Jesus but long before he was around. He died in the name of peace and love, took a sword without blinking or fighting or resisting..
