Coming of this day was engraved in the stone, Melted in ice, and painted on the bone, Now the waiting has commenced, One more life has a chance, The lines of hope getting longer, As the day arrives ever stronger, Taking in the scenery of the surroundings, As the day begins its final soundings, Curves of the past now form the profile, Contour images now appear in real life, The clouds began to shed their tears, Inwardly in earth we all rush for some cover, Last glance of passion I watch fade away, Take me to this new world you promised today Ronil (The sweet sound of summer sends serenity through my soul searching for that evermore solitude.) |
