  One night as I walked along the beach
The wind blew my hair as the sand touched my feet.
  It was a calming effect like a temporary high,
then the sounds from the ocean made me start to cry.

  It only lasted a second, but is sure was nice
May only been a dream that I won't have twice.
  As I walked and I smiled and started to turn my head
Thats when reality hit me, forgot my heart was dead.

  How beautiful is a moment, as far as moments go
when all the memory will be is that you were alone.
  Some people spend their whole lives looking for their mate
but how much of my life does this search have to take?

  They say i'm too nice or that I'm too sweet
well what does it take to sweep just one off her feet,
  Im a nice looking guy or so that's what they say
I have never raised a hand and will never cause you pain.

  I've been looking all too hard for the soulmate I'm to keep
but everyone one I found has been all wrong for me.
  I am a dying romantic, tired of being push away
about ready to give up on the games these women play.

Hon, not ALL women are like that believe me.
I care and believe in feeling and emotion much more so these past few years. Keep looking, and eventually you will find a lady as sensitive and caring as yourself. Keep hoping... great piece btw

Gjam~~~Dont you think us women have feelings too???What about the things that guys do to us???

You need to find yourself someone that is just for you in all the ways you need and want. And when that day comes you will think back to this poem and remember that you were wrong that not all are like this.

Thanks for the replies...Im not really that bad....I am a true romantic though...and it's hard to figure it all out...but I'll keep trying......greg
