Fate is not,
what is to come.
It is what,
I've already done.

Life is not,
a chance to take.
It is the choices,
that I make.

but then,
you can never,
go home again.

Wow...
"Fate is not,
what is to come.
It is what,
I've already done."
You really think so? Fate is everythign that happend and will happen next I think... fate is a plan from above, our destination...
Loved it though, some philosophy
I really like talking and contemplating about destiny and things like that.
Take Care!

Woah! Tremendous poem here Click!    Yes, fate is what you've already done... 'cause in one way, you determine your own fate by your own choices... I liked this one!

This is a cool poem, indeed.  It's almost like a proverb!

Life is not,
a chance to take.
It is the choices,
that I make.

I liked that stanza the most.  Very wise words.  It sort of reminds me of another saying that I've heard

"Luck is a loser's excuse for a winner's position."

We all need to take control of our destiny, or else we'll get nowhere.  We'll just complain about the system and all that, lol.

I agrre with you on fate being what we have already done...because evrything past has led to this moment...I wrote in another poem
Will my every action cause a reaction?
Will the dominoes fall,
one upon another,
With each deed I do, right or wrong?
which goes with your
Fate is not,
what is to come.
It is what,
I've already done
so I can definetly relate with your logic. Ron

A great poem. Much appreciated read!
