ALONE AGAIN

A pain worse than death,
is to feel abandoned & alone.
No where to run,
no where to call home.
No one to care,
that your day didn't go right.
No one to be there,
when you go to bed at night.
A pain that comes like heartache,
doesn't seem to go away.
With time the pain can grow,
instead of stray.
To feel alone once,
you fear that pain again.
Weary to get close, to spill your heart,
& call somebody friend.
To be abandoned & alone,
time & time again,
is to die a thousand deaths.
Have a heart that will not mend.
Learn to have a back,
that will not bend.
Do not be a door stop.
Do not be a friend.
May get up one day,
& simply be alone again.
Another stab wound to the spot,
you used to call your heart.
Close yourself off from the world.
Do not do your part.
Sarcasm, wit, irony, impatience,
weapons against another friendship.
Better to be alone & unused,
than have a crowd of friends,
who simply just abuse.
Friends may come & go,
but often go more often than come.
When they leave,
they leave a hole.
With memories & emotions.
They quickly leave,
without any commotions.
They leave you,
flat on your back.
Leaving you angry,
wanting to attack.

~You can count your TRUE friends on one hand & still have fingers left over!~

LOVE ELMO

A sentiment I have felt more often than I would like to admit.  But if being alone allows you to create poetry of this caliber, maybe it isn't all that bad.

Anyways my other close friend hooked up with a friend of hers. And now whos not a friend to this girl anymore???ME!!!What a friend. You spilled out all your feelings so good. 2 thumbs up for you!!!Keep it up!!!

qtpieelmo,
passionate write here, you should get depressed more often, but not too depressed for I would miss those sharpened quill poems you do so well.

I read this poem over and over again, I know that pain that your going through, a friend of mine screwed me over again and again, till i sent her packing, I miss her greatly she was like a sister to me and my other friends..it hurt, but in the end i knew it was for the best.
Your insight is kick ass..
