Come walk with me in my Garden of the Gods,
Come take my hand, share with me,
I know and I understand,
I'll remind you how true friendship can be.

Ease that burden my friend,
Release all that built up tension and pain,
And hours later we'll both see the light,
And be reminded there is always something to gain.

Come sit on this bench with me,
The wind shall whisper gently through the trees,
We'll be surrounded by this subtropical beauty,
And all those nagging thoughts and pains shall ease.

Listen to the wind chimes,
Melancholy chords for the soul,
Breathe in the scent of lavender and more,
All past heartaches weaken and lose hold.

Take my hand my friend,
Together we'll face whatever this ol' world may send our way,
Feel the comfort, understanding and love,
That I wish for you each and every day.

In my Garden of The Gods,
We will share and ease each burden,
In my Garden of The Gods,
No more pain or hurtin'.

Take my hand my friend,
We'll bravely face the next sorrow,
Together with the Gods to guide us,
There will be a happier tomorrow.....

Isis~~~Oh this was so beautiful!!Stand up and take a bow!!

This is the place that I want to be in. Sounds full of love, delight and happiness. The perfect place where my pain can be set free. When you write you paint the perfect picture, you made me feel as if I was really there. I enjoyed this one very much, such beautiful work!!

Thank you very much for sharing this.

Do you mind if I print this one out and add it to my collection??

Isis you have reminded me how vaulable close friends are...not talking about friends...I have friends...I'm talking about special friends...one is far away and one passed away recently...Oh how I desire a special  friend that is close to me...you know the kind you can tell anything and you just totally trust them...and I think I have found a likely candidate...will know soon..James

this poem brings to life the value of friendship ten-fold. The poem was excellent, and the imagery is like the icing on the cake. great work.

Hay love I'll just add a little furtilizer to this here garden, and say I miss you so much.

Joel. HHHHHHHOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL...

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

This is a gift from the goddess, beautifully crafted but more importantly beautifully heartfelt. Thank you Isis.
