There's a certain strand of joy missing in your smile today, A certain kind of peace which not so long ago seemed to remain in your face forever. And I can't help but wonder-- what pains your heart now? Would it bear any comfort if I told you everything is alright? even though it never is? But it will be, it always does. Nobody will ever know how deep the river you're wading in now, how dark the path you're walking-- All I can tell you is that you are not alone-- Look, the sun shines for you-- Listen, the winds sing for you-- Know, the stars weep for you-- And I amongst them --weeping as you weep --dying as you are dying, Inside your heart--how I wish I could meet you there and embrace you.. even for just a moment to restore that certain strand of joy, that certain kind of peace. |
