STILL HERE Falling hard & fading fast, my life's slipping into realms of black. Starvation makes up for all I lack, 'cause I've got nothing left. Days get longer, nights grow cold, falling down a black hole. I found my escape & firmly took hold, nbut I'm falling once again. Depression takes over, my skies turn to gray. I feel myself slowly slipping away, & it comes at a cost I can't pay. Yet I can't let it go. Fighting myself just to surviive. Not sure if it's better to be dead or alive. The years come & go & pass me by, & I've never felt more alone. I once reached for others with an outstretched hand, but they didn't always understand. So I ended up right where I began, & I'm still here! "Whether you think you can or can't you're right!" LOVE ELMO  |
