I once passed a temple, while roaming around, To Lady Luck, for the gamblers in town. They'd pray to the Lady when on their airbus Heading for Reno, A.C., and Vegas. On vacation, one fell in the ice, Another was eaten by ravenous mice. One opened mail and flew into bits, His friend followed soon with cerebral fit. One was found in the lake by the park, Another took a ride with a smiling loan shark. In the Rockies, another's brakes failed; His buddy was hit by a huge ball of hail. Seven were buried alive in the ground, The rest died when the temple burned down. So, unless you want your life to suck Never worship the Lady Luck. Alicat, the Persnikitty |
