I step out of the room
The darkness has grown
so i no longer see
all around me the walls
are falling in on my ghost of me

I glance back
at what i have lost
at what i have gained
all in the past
All gone in the long Goodbye

Friends i have made
Soon to be lost
in the sway of memories tide
my window closed
now outside i must hide

How the silence deafens me
now my words come as cat calls
No inspiration in words or deeds
Just another victim in this world
where will i be without words

So this is the long goodbye
To a past unknown and a future uncertain
Yet there is one thing that i know
I will return
I will return

Locking this as there's another posted in Open #9. If this is the one you'd rather have open, please write me and we'll lock the one in Open instead.

Thanks,

Chris
