Nothing to it

It's human nature to reach out if we like what we see.
In this case I need to slow down and let her reach back to me.
Must not try to hard to win a woman's affection.
Her heart might be pulling in another direction.
I may not be the man of the hour today
but tomorrow I just might get my way.
My phone is quiet.
My pager is silent.
Wait a minute she placed a call
to let me know how I should move slow.
To make me aware I must take my time to prove I care.
Sort of a lovers passivity with future possibilities.
But I can go thru it if she wants me to do it.
I suppose perhaps I must to build trust
She does seem to have a plan to put me thru it.
Don't know when but let it begin.
Hey this relationship is a piece of chocolate cake.
Somehow I knew it.  There's really nothing to it.

the quest for the meaning of a relationship between a man and a woman is an arduous journey...every day begins new questions and old insights...
OR old questions and new insights...
      compelling work...

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

Taking it slow is the sensible thing to do!!  BUT no matter the journey, getting to know one another, etc, is a pretty sweet cake and worth savouring and enjoying!!  Wishing you luck and lots of icing hon

All i want in life is to be happy
It seems to me
How messed up things can be
Everytime i get ahead
I fell more dead

~Hello James,...Nothing to it 'eh?   . This was a candid expression in which I wholly enjoyed. I believe that time will allow for many things to be discovered and savoured. A good plan. I have faith that you'll succeed. Take care you. *Peace.

No one said that anything in life is easy or fair, my friend.  I like your touch of sarcism to this one, it is very well expressed.

It was a piece of cake finding your meaning in this poem and I savoured every bite. Well done.
