A thread of life trickles down this lonesome body,
Burying itself in its roots,
Feeding on the remains of the past,
Spreading itself throughout the ages at last,
Deepening its claim on the land untouched,
Ever more curious of the coming tainted rain,
As this thread of life feels more drained.

This feels so sad, but a very nice poem.
Take care
