This is a poem I wrote after I had a really strange dream. You told me I was the one, to be with you for life. As you got down on one knee, and asked me to be your wife. The one you will spend, your life with for remaining years. I was so happy, that my eyes filled with tears. It came so quickly, one of my happiest days. "I do" were the only words, that I was able to say. But your ex came, and I had no idea what to do. She said that you were lying, that you had been untrue. I started to talk loudly, then I started to scream. The I woke up, realizing this was nothing but a dream. ~*~TrUe LoVe Is ThE cLoSeSt ThInG tO hEaVen~*~ |

Erin Interesting poem. Having some doubts about his past are you. There is an old saying "Look and you shall find" Maybe if you ask, you'll get some answers. But hopefully this was just a dream, and there is nothing to worry about. Garfield |

ggrn3~~~why not have some thoughts about his past...i mean its like when we go out and his ex is around he gets like in a really strange mood...like lets go i dont want to be here...but see he has no feelings for her anymore from what he tells me...she tried to kill herself over him...and i think that he just doesnt want to see her...but thanks for the reply...i hope that clears some things up for you and anyone else who replies... ~*~TrUe LoVe Is ThE cLoSeSt ThInG tO hEaVen~*~ |

Erin I believe you are looking in the closet for a bone to pick. You know we all have skeletons there. Please believe him, and take him at his word for not having feeling for her anymore. Have you discussed the reasons for his ex's actions? You have him, this may have been her way of trying to hold onto him. It just may be hard for him to be in the same room, knowing what she has done in the past. There may also be some uncertainy there in her reaction to these by chance meetings, and he does not want to expose you to that. You'll never know until you ask. But if your relationship is strong, I wouldn't go looking for bone to break it up. PS. Don't think of me as a smart asterisk  , it's just that I've been in this situation before, but not for those reasons you gave.Garfield |

ggrn3~~~im not trying to start a fight with him or anything.its just he gets uncomfortable when shes around and then i do cause i know he doesnt want to be there. i never thought that it may be hard for him though. but i dont want to lose him because of her. when she found out we were together i was no longer a friend to her. but i think she got passed that or shes just trying to pry into my business, cause all of a sudden she talks to me again. he was the only friend i had at one point. and then we ened up hooking up. but anyways thank you very much for talking to me about it i really appreciate it. |

Hi ERIN! Really nice poem this one. We all got fears and suspicions and dreams are just the reflection of our warries that we have during the day. I don't believe dreams can tell you about your future or present... So if he gets uncomfortable around hes ex, maybe it's cos he's just so sick and tired from her... and there is a reason he left her! |

LM~~~thanks for the reply!!you wanna know the reason he left her??? cause she slept with one of his best friends and tried to deny the whole thing. The only reason she admitted to it cause the guy she slept with was in the same room with my boyfriend and the other guy. What you said about dreams cannot tell us about past, future, present. Fascinating! I recall reading of a similar dream in a book called "I Kissed Dating Goodbye", by Joshua Harris. This was about how one should not sleep with someone unless they are married to them. |
