Yesterday my name
     is practical woman
     who gets things done.
     In my dream
I am a delicate silver chain
     lying soft
     against my breast,
     They call me beautiful,
     Today I am the flitter
     of
     abandoned chatter
     dancing
     Tomorrow, I'll be
     An azure moon levitating,
The day after, the day after,
     I'll be
     children's laughter,
     in the soothing sound
     of Summer rain.

This is simply a beautiful poem.
You've taken nature and capsulated it in yesterday, today and tomorrow. I love it. I also like the way you drew a wonderful picture of how every woman feels..we all feel there are many parts to us, for different times. Good work, look forward to reading more from you.

What a great expression of life, the one most woman are stuck in.

This is the one I want to be tomorrow..
"Tomorrow, I'll be
     An azure moon levitating,"

That has such a peaceful, lovely sound to it.
Take care.

Words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think.

Who I am and who I want to be/
Who you see and who I really am are different...
We are so very complex aren't we.
Written beautifully!

Someone created an ad once for women's perfume that exemplified women's many facets that started like this:
"I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan and never, never, never, let you forget you're a man..." (not pretty like you said it)< !signature-->
