Hello all again!  After a very looooooong retreat into the abyss......I am writing  again (hopefully).  I went through some of the worst depression of my life, that brought me to a complete stand still.  I am glad to see all of your shining faces once again!  Here is the first poetry I have written in a long while....guess it is appropriate, tell me what you think....I am frustrated with my family, yet I love them so?  Anyway....here goes!

I get so tired of being followed by the shadows
The ones who want to keep me for themselves
The ones who only cast darkness my way
The light that is stolen from me
The nagging I feel all day long
The freedom that is refused to shine
The hope that has been rent
The shadow of others watching me
Yes....my every move
My very last breathe it seems....huhhhhhhhhhh
My existence without them
My...................escape into the dawn!

Welcome back illusion, I'm new here so we haven't had the chance to meet before, but I'm glad I've read this poem of yours.
It is hard to be constantly watched by your familiy and sometimes hard to remember they're only doing it out of *LOVE*...
Sometimes I too want to scream and shout!!!
Wonderfully said, thanks!

families what would we do
without them? yet sometimes!!!
i too suffer from depression,
so i certainly understand.
I don't remember who said
it but someone,

"there is no greater
hell, than a melancholy heart"

good job~

Very interesting, and also welcome back. I sometimes feel that my family is trying to pull me into a black hole with them, and yet, out of love, I let them get me right to the edge before I fight back. So although it may be a different situation, I do know how hard it can be. Take care. Keep writing.

With all my heart I wish you a happy return, I also have been away but not far, I have been reading and waiting to see where the forum was going and have decided to stay away a little while longer, I have missed you input kid, and this is a great return
o the passions. live, love, life.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
