My parents were too young, to really start a family, as a fetus I should've been hung, cause now nobody wants me. My "mom" hates me because she loves men, my "dad" says I should've never been born, now that I'm lonely as I've ever been, throw me out and toss me away cause I'm torn. My heart bleeds for the satisfaction of knowing someone's there, someone listen to me, I'm tired and worn, I need for someone to care, but it doesn't matter now... cause I never should've been born. |

Thanks SpitFire I was arguing with my dad a few hours ago over something thats been going on with him for years and he said he wishes I was never born... I thought about it for a few minutes and just the expression in his voice made me cry and I just had to get that out... I don't think I can handle my family anymore but I don't know what else I can do besides write my poetry to get everything out because I know I couldn't live if I kept it all inside. Hiya Kristi...well I love the poem but the topic really, really hurts. My parents say harsh things and do bad things but they've never acted that way and as bad as it hurts me I can only imagine how you feel. We were close before if you can remember...I'm still here for ya if you need me. And you do know who this is right? lol (pst..does the word Perpy ring a bell?) I am so sorry that you have to feel that pain. I remember so many conflicts when I lived with my Mom. Now I have been a Mom for a long time myself, and I know I have said things I did not mean. Often parents speak in frustration of their inability to cope with whatever is happening to them or to you. Don't believe that you should not have been born, its not true, you are here for a reason, and these hard times will pass. Keep writing and sharing. Take care. catalinamoon |

Those are indeed some harsh words to hear, especially from your parents...i am hurt that you must live with this way and i can only pray that those are words of a heated moment... i hope that you may find solace in ur friends, other family members, and your poetry, or any other activity which you enjoy the most...i send my regards and best wishes, keep your head up. AnGeLiX... so incredibly sad. I completely know how you feel, though. I'm not even welcome in my fathers house anymore. The thing that made me despise him... after FINDING OUT ABOUT IT, not me TELLING him, he told me it was MY fault I was raped. That was the end of our relationship, which he made the decision to end. I know how you feel, but keep your head up, and keep venting through poetry, because you do a wonderful job. ((HUGS))  Never give your heart away, it will always come back broken. ~Lil OnE~ |

This is a poem that makes me almost cry. I can almost identify with your situation. In my case, I've often been a pawn in the bitter struggle between my now divorced parents. At times, I felt that I ought not to have been born. Even if your conception was not in love, you need to realize that you are a special person, loved by God. God wanted you to be here for a purpose, weather or not your parents or anyone else feels that you should have been born. Never listen to that crap! No matter where it comes from.
