Unyielding

It's the unyielding
pulling sensation
that holds me in it's grip
twisting me inside out
churning my thoughts

a raging deep within
storming so wild
that when it finally calms
and leaves me in peace
a hurt even worse than that
which began it all
continues

as the knots
begin to unravel
and I am left
worn
and wasted

Here is a nice terry cloth robe to put on.
But,not until you have relaxed in the bath i have drawn, and supped of the tea in this cup. Your favorite book lies there in wait, and a warm and familiar melody plays.
Relax, unwind, love yourself tonight.

hey jamie..I have a footed tub large enough  for two...and  usually write my poetry there with vanilla scented candles burning and bubbles of the same..read  poems  and write and just  close my eyes and dream...but I think there is a haiku here  for you ...

Drawn, heated and bathed
Cleansing mind, body and soul
Yield I, to desires

...as soon as I  remove myself  from a "passionate" afternoon
~~soft smiles
