after reading that fabulous poem "Hard,Cold,Desirable" by Kethry and reading numerous "Fire" related poems floating about...i just had to write this! QUENCH ======= Desert driven breeze Tempts me into Yearning For more heat Dry lacklustre Surges of Intense warmth Engulf me Fainting,Scortched Sensiblilty Thirsting to bathe In you Artic eyes And frozen smiles You're bitter But you're begging Cool me with Your wintered kisses Snow me under In sensual avalanche Let me glisten In melting desires Let my summer seduction Steal away your rain. ~Dawn < !signature--> whatcha doing in this darkness baby when you know love will set you free? will you stay in the sea forever Drowning there for all eternity? ~Live [This message has been edited by poutprincess (edited 08-09-2000).] |
