after reading that fabulous poem "Hard,Cold,Desirable" by Kethry and reading numerous "Fire" related poems floating about...i just had to write this!

QUENCH
=======
Desert driven breeze
Tempts me into
Yearning
For more heat

Dry lacklustre
Surges of
Intense warmth
Engulf me

Fainting,Scortched
Sensiblilty
Thirsting to bathe
In you

Artic eyes
And frozen smiles
You're bitter
But you're begging

Cool me with
Your wintered kisses
Snow me under
In sensual avalanche

Let me glisten
In melting desires
Let my summer seduction
Steal away your rain.

Sorry I am late but the first two stores had empty drinks cabinets. Here you go an ice cold can of Lemonade, brand x, ( I don't think we can use passions for advertising.). ANd after reading that sizzling poem I need a drink myself. Back to the shop.
