Demented pieces of organic matter
Tranquil peace incredulously shattered -
Ones seemingly holding a form of life
But the ones that don't live that life!

Madmen picked from
        Everywhere else but here
Lunatics from subterranean
        Natural human parks
Loners and land sharks
        Wearing caps marked MAD.

Each night
        They dream the same nightmare
They sleep the same dead way.
Each day
They dream the same empty dream
They awaken the same lifeless way.

Welcome to a world, where madmen reside
A prison blocked with
        No doors, No windows,
        Unlocked, Unshackled!

Yet you'll find locked within this world inside
Imbecile captives held
        In various states
        Of mental shock!

Yes you'll view victims of your human pride
Hallucinating creatures
        Crazed into wild eccentricity
        Witlessly submissive to rave!

Welcome to this world and take a free ride
Welcome to this place
        A grand association
        Of human vegetables!

Welcome to this Sanatorium.
Welcome...
~

Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell

~Sudhir,...this is indeed one of those times I wish that people could actually 'hear' my reply. Agh. This is so twisty and chilling and creative too. Gosh,...you've fallen there into the darkness. This is entertaining to say the least. Much enjoyed oh creepy one! Heehe. Take care. *Peace.

Sudhir, I have read many things. Some intense and dark very dark but few things have sent shivers down my spine the way this poem has.

meet, waiting for you,To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank,
searching for you," Joy divison
