Meet me in the morning
when the fog still hovers close
as the sun peeps o'er the waves
and the night is but a ghost.

Meet me in the morning
while we still have time to spend
before the others in your life
take back that which they lend.

Meet me in the morning
hold me in your arms this day
take me to a quiet place
and send our cares away.

And when the morning's over
and that life of yours intrudes
remember how we felt within
this precious interlude.

Cat, sigh this is very beautiful especially love the last two verses

Meet me in the morning
hold me in your arms this day
take me to a quiet place
and send our cares away.

And when the morning's over
and that life of yours intrudes
remember how we felt within
this precious interlude.

city where all roads
meet, waiting for you,To the depths of the ocean where all hopes sank,
searching for you," Joy divison

To have that time, to wash all our cares away together..why must it end? I hope someday that "morning" is the beginning for you!! Well said my friend, excellent poem!!!
