tisket a' tasket a' long ebony basket,
wrote a letter to my love and on the way, I lost it..
lost it…lost it…
…lost it

mindless chant of the damned—

pure white satin encases ivory bones
bloomed red roses fade brown
hourglass weaves merciless web
hollow orbs cotton by father time
black splintered shards under broken nails
gaping bitten 'scream' resounds
echoes muffled sound, drowns six feet down
emerald moss speckles pale cheeks
crystallized silk pillow lace
torn sightless eyes outweep
"always the darkest before it's totally black"
shadow tide despairs sees not the sickle moon
interlacing fingers slowly tear apart
munch the knuckle sandwich of lost hope
sucking chest wound, gasp last breath, heart implodes
“there is no time now, the dark night shines clear"
shadow of nothing slips silently into the void

mindless chant of the damned

tisket a' tasket a' long ebony basket,
wrote a letter to my love and on the way I lost it..
lost it…lost it…
…lost it

HOT, HOT, poem. Just awesome. I can totally see the dark side in it. Great work.

I like the shadows, it's very very dark with no light exceptyour imagagery to show the way. Great.

It was a long dark night when this was conceived.

I must say this is dark indeed, yet I loved it. I am not very good at these types of poems, so I complement you!! Vivd images here, just a great job!!!
