An Emptiness To Fill

I go to the darkness
of night missing you
I dream of the empty I feel.
Upon the morn
and the light coming through
I play back my thoughts that are sealed.
Forever in mind,
to be kept, treasured in
the box of my heart, locked and keyed
Only released
when sighing is stirred
by the voicing I hear in the breeze.
Its raining they say,
somewhere way up high
but outside it's a sunshining day.
As I peek out I see
no clouds in the sky
just the bluest of blue, as they say.
Will get dressed, force myself
step through to the out
and leave my inside behind
with cam in my hand
and a walk in my heart
I will search for new treasure to find.
Will bring my thoughts back
and my pictures to share
as I look, exchange empty with full
And am hoping for feelings
to rise, once again
to replace exciting for dull.
M

Moonchild...Such beautiful pictures you paint with your words.  Enjoyed the hibiscus..I only grow weeds. But even there, there is beauty I suppose.  At least they are green.  Lovely poem.  Hardrock

Maureen

So beautiful... the grace of nature can be such an inspiration and upliftment to those who desperately need it... if only we'd let it.

Thanks for sharing.
