i was given a great honour to work with a very talented poet..DeathTrippy did a sensational job as Dark...i do applaude him!

The Twisted Musings of Dark vs. Light

(Light)
I am the sun, shine my majestic light
That seduces the Earth to blossom
I become natures only longing plight
Which is to suckle the radiance of my bosom

(Dark)
I am Dark, cowards fall before
Casting fear o're the flowers
I will be their beauty slayer
Earth wilts under my darkness

(Light)
Oh darkness my friend, just bow to defeat
And swallow the bitter taste of your whim
For I melt hearts with blistering heat
And make man's blood boil mad with passion

(Dark)
I have no friend, save grim death
Thou art a foe I chase till doom
And lead away boiling blood
To my bed of dark poisoning sin

(Light)
Then enemies we are, I'll give you that right
Oh and I'd be jealous if I were you too
Even in night the moon whispers my light
And the stars twinkle beyond your dark hue

(Dark)
Stars are not yours, I fight them as well
They fight their battle o're other worlds
Worlds half darkened, driven mad by my might
As is the moon, dead, only reflecting your dying light

(Light)
Your darkness may infest all thats weak
It may suffocate fantasies untold
But i am the force that gives courage to the meek
I am the fire that ignites their soul

(Dark)
The weak for now, the best for later
Your light will fail, your fire extinguish
Your courage only temporary, lasting only in light
For fear shall claim them when comes my black knight

(Light)
Do you truly think in your faltering wisdom/pride
That you alone can destroy and displease?
For I burn brightly and dry out the skies
The dehydrated Earth left to die in disease

(Dark)
And thus you admit I command you, "Great Sun"
You burn and destroy, serving my cause
Preparing a half dead world to find its grave
Now bow to the master who leads you in fault

(Mediator)
On that fateful day Sun understood Dark
And realized the err of his ways
He retired to the sunset, its beauty so stark
Where the horizon paints the night from the day

So whether you find solace or horror in night
Or you find wrath in the warmth of the Sun
We cannot exist without darkness and light
For in reality they truly are One.
