Moment Of Tranquility

She tiptoed across the moon's smile
and swung from the vines of it's will.
She dusted her pale face with
sprinkles of it's golden glow
and drank from it's deepened well.
She swallowed it's beauty
and tasted it's strength,
and sang of the nights they had had.
Her up there, on top of the world,
on top of the troubles at home.
High above the anguish
on the antique chair,
in the corner at the house.
It sits there while she's tiptoeing,
it waits for her return.
The pain lurks with anticipation,
she, it's prey is flying free for the time.
It encircles her space
and screams out to night's sky
with warnings of heat to be had.
The sounds fail to reach her as
she gently tiptoes to the moon's ear,
to thank it for the peace,
for the moment of tranquility
it has so generously bathed her in.

Fire, oh fire!
How, just how do you do it?
This is simply celestial!

I love it, very descriptive
