The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2000-07-31 02:25 PM

Fleeting shadow
used to be
love
door ajar
remembrance
of touch
glimpse
of passion
reminiscence
of happiness
shadow gone
door slammed
passion
disintegrated
memories
tainted
love
terminated

The sparseness of this poem is awesome, cat!
I do hope this is not a reflection of your current state! ((hugs)) if it is!

~Cat,...this poem came hammering down on me. It's the only way I can come up with to describe to you what it felt like reading it. WoW. It's seems so final and desolate. I'm sorry. Awesome writing.  Please be well Stylish One. *Peace.

Great poem!  I really like your use of very small, and to the point wording.  This really punches the reader!

May just be my testosterone getting the better of me, but that looks like an old-style bomb headin' north! LOL

Oh, I liked your poem too!
