Deep Passions One sitting quietly Thinking of life’s tranquility Reading poems of passion Reading poems of despair Releasing feelings, if one dares All this in DP Fashion Making us feel What is real In a life so mundane As questions Of love and sorrow Drive us insane We cry we laugh we shed a tear We find all the reality Of the darkest nights As we help each other see Through the loud thunder And the severe Hail You gave me courage Each and every time I fell Though most of what I write Is loving, funny or light I can’t always be this way Happy go-lucky and gay There comes that brooding time When I want to switch my rhyme When my happiness is crashin’ I need to write in Dark Passion! When my words had no voice and the pain filled my mind, I had no way of release but then I was lucky to find What has become my haven to which I may spill my soul Now my spirit sings powerfully, no longer living in a hole It is a place of brotherhood like a safe harbor for mending So this is why to Dark Passions, all my gratitude I'm sending In times of trial When I hurt and despair A friend in our haven Is always there Though I feel down and alone And life crumbles and falls To lift my burden Come passionate calls For the cycle of life With its ups and downs Will never destroy me As long as DP's around A poet unknown, unloved and alone. starts emotional healing living in her new home. Heart wrenching feeling, such personal tales. Someone always cares, friends there without fail. As poets we know Where our fellow poets go To feel love in their heart May we never be apart Here at Dark Passions.... Forever Friends Darkened by shadows cast, We live our lives, deprived but not forgotten In our shadowy haven, bound by misery Yet freed by compassion, we learn The brightest light, burns in the darkest night and that light shall never go out as I sit and I wait for the dawn watching for DP to emerge and to shout healing the heart that is torn waiting, contemplating, hoping not moping finding my voice on DP's forum I could recount all the pain that I've felt, But I'm not sure you would believe me. But I don't miss my loss, I've finally found, My friends in DP who won't leave me. These words we shape are delicate flowers conceived on tongue from gentle whisper, laughter, yearning scream or sigh each bellows from poetic lungs. Brothers and sisters let us join in this chorus and celebrate the Dark forum. What I have learnt what I have felt Occasions and much situations Of which I have dealt The journey of life Sometimes fruitless and bare The feeling and thoughts of being here But not exactly being there A place where thought rides free A cyber union of minds With the gift of having friends and words With each of us treasuring this gift divine Existing in a mind often harsh and unkind drenched in darkness and despair never thinking another could understand or share. Here, in DP, I have found minds that understand and abound. The "Queen of Darkness" has found a comforting home far from being unkindly judged and alone. With forked tongue and disturbing word, here I may scream silently and always be heard. For this I thank you, Thank you all and if you should ever stumble into my darkness I will greatiously cradle you as you fall. Reading poems intently taking all to heart waiting to hear what others will impart what joys and sorrows I do share here. With so many when my life seems unclear and when I seem to stray away Some dear heart in my email will impart the importance of my being at DP.
