I sit in front of a computer screen
waiting for my love...
He must be really busy,
because he hasn't logged on.
I wish he would remember me
and come online to talk
for the demons are awake tonight
and playing with my heart.
They tell me that he is not real,
and I am just being played a fool.
But then again, they might be wrong,
because I just listened to our song.
I try in vain to block them out,
and still I wonder as I sit here and pout.
I say to myself,
as a single tear slips down my cheek.
Where are you my love?
I am waiting for you to speak.

Very nice. It has a similar theme to Electronic Love, which I also liked.

Hey Dee, yes, this is really similar to mine and the reason, as we know, is that we are both sitting here waiting for that damn message, and when it doesn't come, its so hard, it can almost drive you crazy. I hope you have a happy ending.  PS  Nice poem,
Sandra
