The night is a place for demons
Taking captive the innocent
As a child cries in the darkness.

Another lost soul waiting
for redemption to find a better way
and a child cries in the darkness

An evil presence stalks the moon
turning it's purity to blood-lust
as a child cries in the darkness

No tears are heard no screams are given
as a child waits to be torn and riven,
and a child cries in the darkness

Innocence lost, is never regained
And a life defiled, shattered restrained
Ceases….
as a child cries in the darkness.

Kethry.
When dark of night steals your soul. Think of me and be made whole.

Lynne, this was very moving, makes me think of all the children and the cries that go unheard...so sad...This was very well done, filled with emotion!!

And when you are that child...
