Crying myself to sleep, alone in the dark.
Putting together the pieces of my heart.
Give me the will and strength to cope.
Now that you have left I've lost all hope.

Do the shadows rule the night?
For with these shadows I do fight.
I still need you by my side.
Why didn't you stay and weather the ride?

We parted with a simple good-bye.
No reason given as to why.
I'll harbor the hurt and shelter the pain.
And in my dreams I'll see you again.

Heartbreakingly lovely.
Be well.

~Oh E! Ouch. This is so well expressed, this pain. "Why didn't you stay and weather the ride?",...Exactly! ~Sending sunshine.~  Enjoyed,...Be well E. *Peace.

Another place I have been. Hurts a lot. Perfect expression of the sadness
