“POPPY’S HEAVENLY GARDEN”

You had a long life, that much we know,
But it’s not any easier to see you go.
I still see you outside tilling the earth,
So your plants would have a rich soil of worth.
You watered and weeded, tending with love,
I just hope you have your own garden above
Your flowers will be the most glorious there,
And the angels will help you with much loving care.
As much as we miss you, we know that you’re  free,
Especially we know you have the best company.

Rose, I loved your poem, and I lost my Grandfather too, he always had a wonderful vegetable garden in his back yard. Very sad, isn't it? My grandmother is dying now, also. I wrote a poem about her, just below.
I will read your others too, I know we share a similar love and sadness for the loss of such wonderful people.
Peace

Rose hon, I believe your Poppy is tending the most beautiful garden imaginable as you read this.  Heaven's beauty knows no bounds, and I'm sure Pop would be doing his share to make heaven an even more beautiful place.
A wonderful tribute of love for him..
