In The Hospitality Of My Sadness

In a seconds time I was inside it all.
Where the birds they fly,
and the wind does blow,
and songs of you are sung.
In a seconds time I was alone, where
the flowers trip in rivers of stone,
in bowls of sour shredding threads,
tasteless in all it's beauty,...
you are heard.
You are so far away from my touch,
your sacrifices weren't enough.
My life in it's turn has fought,
a way out of your nesting grounds,
your ill spirited den of hell.
Years and hours have passed me by, and now,
tips of my fingers touch the dusty earth,
leaving fingerprints that crawl to you
across three states and pile by your door.
You walk in circles over bits of me,
of my reach and my curiousity.
Silently there, they wait for you,
until they are weak fallen,
and allow the evening breeze
to carry them home,..here to me...
back again,...in the comfort of my pain,
in the hospitality of my sadness.

Oh my goodness! That was so beautiful, yet so sad.  I could picture myself watching.  Great one my friend!

And songs of you are sung...I loved the title to this, and enjoyed the read..I felt the sadness here. This was very well done!!

There are no words to describe the beautiful imagery here.  So many great words and lines...such a nice poem.  Hardrock

SF, I can never seem to find words for your poems. (some poet I am, hm?) They are just wonderful, and emotional, and the way you play with words is extraordinary..
