Romancing Death Within

Dreams are shattered by love undone
Hearts are broken without remorse
Why does love stand for pain?
Please let me show you
The path of the black rose
Where love is eternal
And death lays between
The tender embrace of our love…

I hunger for your pure, red wine
Let me taste it forever more
Why fight what you wish?
Feel the ecstasy of lust
As the pain takes you away
From the sorrows of ever last
That haunts us without a rest
So join me in death…

this poem seems very deep. so deep that you might only understand the true meaning. i'm not quite sure what you were trying to say maybe because i've never felt such great emotions. i think it's excelent work!! it definitely gives me something to think about!!

Welcome,
Although new myself;

Enjoyed the open verse poem,
perhaps it's the dark nature of it.
Look forward to reading more of your work.
