I could tell you a few small secrets Or I could tell you a big fat lie I like to be honest Just dont ask me why Now if I open my book of pain And tell you of my fears Dont interrupt the process Or even shed a tear You see I have many mountains That were difficult to climb But I climbed them never the less It just took alot of time I have a few oceans That I swam for many years The currents never took me down Or washed away my fears I even have a forrest With trees way so high Never once did I give up Or stopped and wondered why Now you must wonder about my fears All the above, I have put up a fight My fear is as simple as this... I have no love within my sight Yes love is my demon Love has caused me hurt It has stomped me into a ball And buried me beneath the dirt So now you know my fears I have opened up my book When you see Chapter 2 Stop and take a look........ Once there was a darkness Deep and endless night You gave me everything you had Ahhhhhh you gave me light |

DkW...another great thinking poem. Makes me wonder what we really fear: Not finding love? Finding it, not keeping it? Or, just love itself? Hmmmmm...makes me think. Love the poem. Hardrock |

Yes, love has stomped me in the dirt too. Guess we have to brush off and carry on. Great poem, lots of thoughts. Hope chapter 2 is better for you. |
