i open my eyes and wipe off the mist off my brow and stare at the sky; amidst every bit of struggle for peace, children still bleed, still weep, still die. a man born wicked... a mind so empty... -makes life so pointless with all this frenzy. we're choking on the very food that we eat, starting a war to achieve peace. 'washed out by the colors that stain the walls, i wonder when i'll find such bliss as i listen to the voices that fill every hall: "whatever happened to the struggle for peace?" |
