Oh, very intense in few words. And the title is great! "worn by years of tears". Awesome. "Keep dreams alive, for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly." author unknown |

Uta...there is such power in this poem...especially when you know that Odysseus was a leader in the Trojan wars, who, after the war, wandered for 10 years before returning home (hence the term "odyssey"). I could visualize him so well here. The title is what clinched it. Hardrock |

You have a gift my friend for portraying emotions briefly but with wonderful imagery. This is fantastic work and you deserve the compliment!! I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

I love this so much...I am a fan and creator of poems that speak a world of truth in just a few short lines. I can relate to this one...good work "We have all these galaxies inside of us. And if we don't enter those in art, then I don't understand the point in doing anything."-Sam Shepard |
