You come to me in my dreams...
And though I have never touched you
My breath catches...
You slide into the bed next to me..
Your skin burns me as it grazes my back.
Reality says you are not really there, but
Fantasy says you are...
I know not the difference in this moment...
Nor do I care...
I am dreaming of you and wanting you to be real.
I cannot control the passion in my dream,
I yearn to hold you close to me...
Just as lovers do.
You are my fantasy lover.
How I long for it to be my reality...

Fantasty is often much more appealing than reality, isn't it? Nice presentation.

How deeply we can feel the need for something to be real, and the dream can feel so real at times. Nicely done!!!

Fantasy lovers can be the best...as long as you are asleep.  It's the waking up alone that is so difficult.  Nicely done, Dedreia...Hardrock

Right here with ya, Dee. And nicely written as well.
