~This is not my usual,..but it's a message.~

Halls of Hell (Nightmare, Insect PR).

Walls wet with liquid life
dripping, drowning
darkness surrounding
halls of hell
terror chasing me
burning eyes can't see
screaming echoed
through flame and fire
sanity hung on wire
sweaty head
pounding with pain
tears of glass it did rain
tattered feet
running on fumes
stone walls entomb
cries of horror
flying in the air
releasing a message tear
this tear it traveled
far from this place
right upon Insect's face
message retrieved
he set off to save
me from darkness' evil cave
hallway's heat
and lack of air
filling mind with deathly fear
just in time
'ol Insect came
and hell's beasts he had tame
he showed lights
on the other side
tears of joy I then cried
to be flying
in freedom's sky
released from evil's eye
he awoke this weary one
with laughter and a smile
thank you Insect for making days worthwhile.

How sweet (in the end, I stress). I hope insect is pleased! Who is Nightmare, BTW. Is it a person? Am I dim?   I have to go now, because my bladder is bursting!

very intense poem, dark. Had me cowaring under my chair. Wonderful poem, moves at neck break speed.

SpitFire,

Hooray for Insect!!!!     Sorry, had to say that.  Anyone who helps you out is tops in my book.

This was a powerful message my friend.  I hope all is well with you.  Great writing.

Sweetness of Hell

Sanity showers an infinite thread
Weaving the unthinkable in your head
Tears of gold glitter and shine
Brighten this sky of yours and mine

Darkness finds a place to hide
Trying to lure you into his side
Handing pretty candy shiny and red
Tasting its flavor he penetrates your head

Sweetness of hell a devouring treat
Is nightmare's rope to slow down your feet
This hall of hell stretches forever
Running to freedom a doorway to never

Passing rooms and out of breath
Every step closer to a nightmares death
But up ahead a room with a glow
You enter to find a feeling you know

You hear little clicks coming from a window
This is your escape you know you have to go
Opening the window low and behold
A little insect with a wing in a fold

He says come this way and we will sing
I'm a little insect with a little sting

YOU MY FRIEND ARE A MESSAGE TO SEND
WE CAN SING TILL ETERNITY'S END
YOU ARE THE BLANKET, THE GOLDEN FLEECE
YOUR MESSAGE OF JOY YOU CALL *PEACE
