why do we try
to echo life
play god
move dolls around
to mimic our existence
in philosophical tea partys
what is this manipulation about?

He created man
in His own image

look at how we move
so lacking grace
like crude playthings
some of us sit on the shelf and wait
for hands pull us down
dust us off
for strings to be pulled
can we come to terms with the truth behind our own existance?

do our porcelain faces betray us
or is fear lost in our glass eyes?

Wren ,this is interesting thought-provoking stuff...we dont even come to terms with ourselves easily yet we still want to brag about what we think we know about ourselves in front of others...am i correct?

enjoy the last two lines muchly..to this reader, it hints that we are afraid to come to terms with ourselves

Now this one got me thinking ...
How can we try to create, to play "God" without fathoming the mysteries of the universe? That's what I read in it. Have fun, although I'm sure you're already gone now! I will miss your poems *sniff*
