Somewhere in my broken heart lies the memory of our love
A love that knew much and asked little
Somewhere in my broken heart speaks the voice of our love
A love that sang the song of life

Somewhere in my broken heart dreams the nights of our love
A love that was filled with passion
Somewhere in my broken heart wishes the days of our love
A love that knew only you, only me

Somewhere in my broken heart touches the face of our love
A love soft and gentle, tender and new
Somewhere in my broken heart holds the warmth of our love
A love that heated the coldest times

Somwhere in my broken heart cries the tears of our love
A love that can't seem to be
Somewhere in my broken heart mourns the death of our love
A love that I wished could be

Somewhere in my broken
           Somewhere in my broken

                                                                                       Heart. . .

Ouch. Broken heart is mended when one lets out the pain. Good way of describing.

Sven-
Wow! This poem made me cry! It was touching....beautiful! I wish I had written it! You should have warned me before I read it- so I could have gotten a box of Kleenex!
Really wonderful!

Ok.....so I am brain dead!!!!  I read this yesterday and totally forgot to post!  LOL
Never said I was bright...

This is a greatly penned poem Sven, but I think I like your happy and romantic side better.

Somewhere the answer to all your prayers is waiting, somewhere the lady of your dreams is waiting, somewhere happiness is waiting, somewhere peace is waiting... etc.
Sven I really liked this one and felt your pain.  As usual great stuff!!  *Namaste*

Romantically sad, but true. So many go loving without knowing that they are loved by someone out there.
