My mom keeps a treasure chest
Decorated with cherished photos
The wear reflects
Its use

Memories of the past
Fond flashbacks of
borrowed time

This chest aspires
My hearts desire... as
Yesterdays breath
Warms the air

I envy you...we never had such a chest or even a photo album...I can only imagine the pleasure it must bring to you.  Nice poem.  Hardrock

"yesterday's breath
Warms the air"
Beautiful ending line! I enjoyed this poem quite a bit! Very Good!
