In the still of the night
with darkness all around.
The moment of my freedom
is complete, and light abounds.

The moon is crescent
shining upon a still lake.
The winds talk to the pines,
with a lover’s song in take.

With a lover’s song in my heart,
I turn to White Dove in her flight.
Singing in chorus with the wind’s
adoration of lofty pines in sight.

Upon steady breath the question asked
will you be mine for all time.
Will you love me, as much as I do you
will you love like the wind does the pine.

With deep thought and steady voice
White Dove turns her flight to land upon my brow.
Saying I have loved you forever and always will
I will fly with you my wolf, forever and now.

We saw the darkness disappear
as the sun peaked over the hills
The most beautiful morning in my life
White Dove in my arms, my heart thrills.

So sound the trumpets, and bring out the band
sound my lover’s heart song throughout the land.
She (White Dove) has landed within my heart,
I’m whole now with my love in an open hand.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Please Don't think this White Dove is this same one in passions, so many have, I have called my true love White Dove long before I came to passions.
--------------------------------------
To all my friend in passions, who have witnessed my saga of lost/found love with White Dove, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To those that had baby sat me through hard times, hard nights, and have watch me ?? fall apart with ?? uncontrollable emotions, a special thank you, to list you all would be to much, to list you at all would be to little.
Just to make it clear, White Dove has said she will marry me, for all time. And that she has loved me always, she just had to see how much, and without a doubt.
We will be married before 2001.
Again Thank you.
Joel the wolf.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

"And Joel fades back...White Dove is running, dodging all...Joel the Wolf heaves his heart, giving his all, knowing that the clock is ticking...his heart is up, up, spiraling toward White Dove...will she catch it, WILL SHE?  SHE DOES!!!  WHITE DOVE HAS CAUGHT JOEL'S HEART!!!  SHE SCORES!!!  Joel the Wolf has won the game!!!  The fans in Dark Passion's Stadium go wild.  Joel the Wolf runs to White Dove.  Enthusiastic fan, Hardrock, joins them in the end zone...does his crazy legs dance, screaming, "You da man, Joel.  You da MAN!!"  What a game, folks.  What a game!!  And you were all here to see it in beautiful Dark Passions Stadium...where hearts are won and lost, but everyone goes home a winner.  Congratulations to Joel and White Dove.  Hardrock.

I have tears in my eyes. This is quite possibly the best poem I have seen from you. Notwithstanding the fact that it is so wonderful to finally see that you are together again with your Dove. Congratulations and hugs to you.

I can add nothing of substance to what others before me have said, save that I wish you and the one you love all the happiness that you may gather together.

Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility.

Ditto Rex, Joel. Great piece.  I know your White Dove has to be extremely pleased with it and you. Good luck through all you both encompass.

~Joel,...if I were there right now, I'd take your hands and do my big huge Congratulations dance with you.  It's really silly and you have to be smiling and laughing the whole time. Those are the rules.  Hooray!!!  I really can't explain how happy I am that you are happpy, but I'll try and show you   !!!  If I could measure it in height,...it'd be up to the bluest sky...right now.  *Sigh*...I may just have to do the dance alone and make believe that you are here. haha.  Oh,...and this poem is just the greatest,..really, I am just so overwhelmed with the news that it's difficult to focus. haha.  Awesome!!!  Love ya, ~Spit.

The cressent moon was shining on the lake, the wind was gentle but blowing, she was in my arms, we were in my van it's a large van with a bed in the back.
the stars were out by the millions with the milky way across the sky, I had some red wine
the smell of the pines drifted with the wind into the van, I had been massaging her legs, she works two jobs, and I'm a massage therapist, that helps. haha
So thanks for the responce.

As most of you know I've taken a break in passions and have missed the crashes, My time has been taken up with day to day work.
and I've been working on children's books.
------------------------------------

Sgraybe, thank you so much and I know you have seen this saga unfold a long time.
and God bless you also.

lotharingia, Breathtaking, yes for me also.
I with patience have joined with the love of my life, it will be forever!

taramw, yes it has worked out, and I thank you.

James, your too much my friend.

StarrGazer, yes I have put my life here on the block of passions, so to speak. and it has paid off. Patience is one of my virtues I do have, spelling and punctuation I don't, as has been pointed out.

Nancee, I do hear the whispering of this dream, and no other sound. Thank you for the blessing.

To all thank you again.
Joel.

Hi Joel i am so pleased for you happiness and love are all that really matter. mere words can never truely express the feelings that you must be experiencing no matter how good a poet you or I are or can ever come close.

Wishing you Happiness and long life
