Once in life I had a dream Of love and happy times I dreamt of ways to share the love Which bubbled deep inside. I dreamt about my life ahead The plans that I would make I planned my life and who I'd be Ahead in future days. Soon my dreams were swept away As nightmares took their place I no longer dream of joy I live but by God's grace. I did not think that I would stray From these concrete dreams I did not know my life held pain Beyond my wildest dreams. The nightmares now torment my mind Throughout the evening hours And through the days my mind recalls Those days I lacked all power. Now I dream for happy thoughts For ways to stay a live I dream for peace and joy of hert I lost before age five. My life was stolen from my grip I have no room for trust I dream of faces in the dark I dream of broken love. I am so sorry for all your pain. I saw a best friend through some terrible times and although I don't know you, I will keep you in my prayers(((smiles))) for you today!! |
