IN MY SILENCE Running from the world, & not knowing where to go. I find comfort in my silence, from thoughts they'll never know. How is it that I can be lonely, when there's people all around? They only see the smiles, 'cause my tears don't make a sound. Drowning in my solitude. I'm fading, falling fast. Putting hope on things, that I know will never last. But I've got no where to go, so I blindly find my way. Searching for some answers, & a way out of this place. But darkness soon takes over, & I lose sight of the shore. I wonder why I'm still here, & what I'm still fighting for. *Life's a decision, Death's it's conclusion* ~ELMO~ <3 |

Poetry is usually a small fragment of reality. You can take a small misfortune and make it sound like a hole in your heart, I do it all of the time. I just hope that poetry is like that for you as well, and if not, I hope the people around you provide solace to your torn soul. The poem was very meaningful and deep. Jenn |

I find comfort in my silence i love this line and i can relate.. there's no way for me of knowing how you exactly feel.. each and every one of us has his or her own kind of suffering.. i can only say that there is a way out and expressing it helps.. great poem, qtpieelmo. |

Thank u soo much every1 its nice 2 know some1 cares  i find it a lot easier 2 express myself through poetry its actually the only way i know how i plan on stayin as long as i can or until i run out of stuff 2 write about lol luv u all <3 ELMO!! |
