Oh sweet enchanted darkness
surrender of my soul-slowed pace
nurture envelops my blessed stillness
for all I sought in goodness of gold in chase.
Let me kiss thine lips
with a tender, dispassionate embrace
‘Tis this love I quest, forever shrouded
a lover's want, a lover's need, a lover's chase.
With inconsolable heart
and tortuous crown in place
upon this familiar block,
beheading sickle in chase.
Upon my brow no worried lines
defeated private embrace.
Oh sweet enchanted darkness
I do give thee chase
My sweet lovers chase.

i really great piece my friend and a good come back since i have not seen you in here for awhile. but i hope you stay a little longer i enjoy your poems very much and my heart still goes out to you. enjoyed this very much and do keep it up love all your work.

No baby, I’m ready to move it, one way or the other.
I’m letting go of white dove.
I’ll ask her to marry me before this weekend is up
I’m taking her to the lake we love so much, out to the other end.
Then I’ll ask her, just me and her, and god, no pressure from people
She has been dating others, and you know why, to see where I belong in her life,
she is confused and this will put it to a head, you can only be confused for so long,
I’m tried of living alone, I need someone in my life now ?? or never. I guess my patience is up.
I love her so much, I can’t take ?? the double standards?? Each night she goes out with another, I want to rip heads off, and the most terrible thing about this is I can.
I can share a cup of water with only one and that’s W. D. not with anyone else.
Is this selfish?? is this childish? is this madness, for all in the sake of love.
It is a book that’s got to be closed for me, one way or the other, soon, or I’ll go mad.
Oh and thank you all for taking the time here and all your support, and help in my ?? trials of life.

~Joel,...long time no post. ??? Ok,...this line kills me....a lover's want, a lover's need, a lover's chase. You have written so well of this. Following you has been like reading your book. Your poetry speaks to me,...(along with those other voices, haha)...seriously though, your heart speaks in your words in all that you write and I love it. I just read your reply about WD,...and won't add any added pressure and just wanted to say that I can understand what and why you are doing what you are doing. Take care of yourself. *Peace.

I agree it's time to take the bull by the horns one way or another. Living suspended between two worlds sux.
