The Shores of Alone

Come here to me.
This scenario is not working anymore.
Ceaseless need wears thin after awhile.
Oh, I know, I'm always Miss Undertanding ..
I know about life.
I have been around this block too many times.
Sure, I know how it is.
It's not our moment right now-not quite.
You know it's close.
We connect so intensely, though so far away.
But you come and go like the wind.
I would say it's not fair, but I can't.
It was understood from the first.
I feel your desire mixed with divided loyalty.
Interesting concoction.
Do you think I don't feel it too?
I accept the crumbs you toss.
Lap them up eagerly, in fact.
I am the instigator of my own misery.
None of that matters.
We need eachother.
It's not just me and my tendency
toward unrequited love.
No, it's an electrical storm, spanning the miles,
creating shock waves of desire,
and dare I say it, even love.
Of course that part is not acknowledged,
at least not to eachother.
I admit it freely to anyone who will listen, anyone but you.
I have no regrets and no shame.
Remember the midday rendesvous,
before I went away?
Nothing will ever touch those times,
except a recreation with you.
Leaving-now there's an example
of my  habitual walk down the wrong path.
I should have known I would never forget you,
never forget us.
Fool that I was, now I know.
and now I am so far away-and she is so close.
Do you understand this has to break soon.
Come here to me, let me show you our happy ending.
It's there if we grab it.
My fingers are outsretched, you have only to reach out.
I see your hand in the distance, closer..
don't look back.
It will be ok.
You can still be a good person and love me.
Let it go-come here to me now.
I'm convinced our survival is at stake.
You know it's true.
I can't wait much longer.
Remember that tolerant attitude of mine?
It's startng to crack.
I may snap like a twig left too long in the scalding heat.
It was your creation,
this unending passion, this dependence I have on you.
Now you need to follow through.
Yes, we can stay in our sheltered and lonely lives.
But I'm not sure I could take it..could you?
Stretch just a little more..
Come here to me now.

This is very powrful cat, I liked it. There's a powerful desire here and intense desire to dominate and control (it seems to me). The insistence and relentless words are almost like hypnotism drawing this man to you (or her). Well crafted!

So much longing for the other half of ourselves. I understand this so much.
Good job kid. you have expressed your inner self so much here. We travel the same path.

love, light.
Joel.

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
